Born and raised in Plano, Texas, Gabrielle Brogdon knew from a young age that storytelling was in her blood. However, the instinct to put pen to paper came much later in life.

She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin, where she frequently replied, “anything but write,” when asked what she would do with a degree in Radio, TV, and Film. On her last day of class, she discovered that the thing she thought she’d been avoiding had been at the heart of every project and been bringing her the most joy all along.

She began writing The Chosen Sun after coming to the realization her favorite Chosen One stories often inspired her to pursue a healthier lifestyle both physically and mentally.

She currently resides in Los Angeles, where she can be found working on book two of the Knights of the Sun series and avoiding cardio at all costs.
